Italian Beef Is Great On A Sub Roll With Some Provolone, Or Simply As A Side Item. You'll Need A Crock Pot, As This Takes All Day To Cook In Order To Properly Tenderize The Beef.

Time Required:  15 Minutes Each For Prepping And Shredding; 6-8 Hours Of Crocking

Skill Required:  Minimal Skills Needed

Ingredients:

2-3 Lbs Of Beef Roast

Italian Seasonings (Parsley, Basil, Rosemary, Oregano)

Salt, Pepper, Garlic, Onion Powder

Olive Oil, Italian Dressing, And Water

Optional: Provolone Or Mozzarella Cheese And Italian Rolls

Directions:

Cut The Roast Into Manageable Chunks. A Couple Of Long Strips Work Best.
Place The Beef Into The Crock Pot And Add 1/2 Cup Of Olive Oil And A Few Splashes Of Italian Dressing.
Add Seasonings To Taste.
Cover The Beef With Water.
Crock It For At Least 6 Hours.
When The Beef Is Tender Enough, Remove It And Separate It Using Two Forks.
Empty Most Of The Broth From The Crock Pot, Setting It Aside Because You May Need It.
Place The Shredded Beef Back In The Pot, And Add Some Broth To Keep It Juicy. For Best Flavor, You Can Refrigerate It Overnight Before Serving.
If Desired, Serve On Italian Rolls With Provolone Or Mozzarella Cheese, Or Simply Serve It Straight Up.
