A Must For A Cajun Tailgate, Blackened Catfish Is Easy And Inexpensive To Make, Requiring Only A Few Ingredients And Not Much Time. The Result Of Your Labor Will Be A Spicy And Greasy Piece Of Southern Delicacy That Is Sure To Be A Hit At Your Tailgate.

Ingredients:

Catfish Filets

Butter (Not Margarine)

Blackened Seasoning (Cajun Seasoning Will Do, But Look Specifically For "Blackened Seasoning")

Instructions

Melt Butter In A Skillet. Use Enough To Coat The Fish. Add A Significant Amount Of Blackened Seasoning, So That The Fish Will Be Coated When Placed In The Skillet Coat The First Side And Flip The Fish. Add Seasoning And Butter If Needed Cook For About Five Minutes On Each Side Serve Hot; This Goes Great With Cornbread
